What Data is Collected and Why
This website collects first names and email addresses (although the first name is optional) for the purpose of sending you emails or other digital material through mailing lists.
I may occasionally send you a marketing email about a new book, online course, or something else going on as well.
If at any time you want to unsubscribe from this, there’s an unsubscribe link on every email. If you don’t see it, reply to the mail and I’ll unsubscribe you personally!
If you win a book giveaway from me, I might ask for your physical mailing address. If I ship the book directly, this address isn’t stored in any database. If I ship through Amazon, then I will share your address with Amazon for the purpose of shipping.
Site member data
If you become a member of this site (for example, signing up for a course), then the RainMaker platform maintains your login credentials for this site. To see (and change) the data connected with your login, visit your profile at this link:

This site uses cookies to recognize members when they return, and to feed the learning management system. It should work fine without cookies enabled.
If you sign up for a paid course, all payments happen the payment system (currently PayPal), so I don’t see or store any billing information.
I don’t sell or share your data to third party services
As mentioned above, if I ship something to you, I may need to give your mailing address to Amazon or the postal service.
If I make substantive changes to this policy, I will notify all current subscribers.
