You’ve put in the work—clarified your idea, identified your positioning in a book proposal, and written a sample chapter or two. But before you send the proposal out to agents or publishers, you wonder:
Does this make the best case for my book?
That’s where a professional critique comes in. I’ll offer suggestions for improving or strengthening your proposal so you can feel confident pitching your book and catching the attention of agents or editors.
What’s Included in the Critique
This one-time proposal critique includes:
- A 30-minute phone or Zoom consultation to discuss your book and publishing goals
- A thorough review of your proposal (comments returned within a week)
- A follow-up phone/Zoom consultation to discuss feedback and next steps
- A written critique letter outlining suggestions for revision and refinement
Cost: $800
