Whether you love it or hate it, your writing needs it. Your readers deserve it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the format for this class?

The class is delivered as a series of short videos, each with associated exercises. It takes about an hour to watch all of the videos. How long you spend on the exercises is up to you!

I hired a professional editor - do I need this class?

Every author should self-edit their own work, even if you hire a professional copy editor and proofreader. First, self-editing helps you tune and improve your writing, so that over time your first drafts become a little better. Second, the cleaner your draft, the less time your editor will have to spend on it. That usually translates into paying less, overall, for editing time.  So, think of this course as an investment!

Will I have ongoing access to the class?

Yes, you can take the class at your own pace, with ongoing access to the videos and handouts.
